Goods may be returned to us if sold under our Satisfaction Guarantee, if they are faulty or damaged or you have been sent the wrong goods or incorrect quantity. Please return the goods within 30 days from the date of the invoice and follow the instructions below.
By following this process we will be able to track the delivery and we pay the collection charges.
1. All returned goods must be returned in their original condition. Please repack the goods carefully using the original and any supplementary packing (if required) and firmly seal the package.
2. Use the peel off self-adhesive returns labels supplied to you on the front of the despatch note and affix to the package, indicating the reason for the return. For multiple package returns, please copy the returns label and ensure that all packages carry this information and mark them 1 of 2 etc.
3. Call the Sweet & Maxwell Returns line on 0845 077 2923 to arrange the collection with our courier, DPD. Please listen to the recorded message for instructions. You will then be connected to the courier’s call centre.
The Sweet & Maxwell account numbers you will be asked to quote are:
242848 for looseleaf products
242847 for all other product returns
4. Please make sure that the parcel is ready for collection at the agreed collection point promptly as the courier is unable to offer specific collection times and will not automatically make a second collection attempt. Collections are usually made within 24 hours.
5. DPD will give you a receipt upon collection with a consignment number. Please keep your receipt for future reference.
