Our History
In 1986 - before the mobile phone, before the World Wide Web or even before Microsoft® Windows® - Jerry Rihll and Roger Thomas founded Digita. Their vision was to develop advanced tax and accounting software to help financial professionals increase efficiency, productivity, and profitability - and to provide excellent knowledgeable customer service. Digita sold its first tax-return preparation software in November that year.

In the years since Digita - now part of Thomson Reuters - was founded, we have developed a complete range of integrated tax and accounting software. We pride ourselves on working only to meet the needs of practicing accountants and tax professionals. Vision, dedication, knowledge, service, and technology – it’s a powerful mix that keeps us at the forefront of the business.
